This is the handbook that James Roth uses in his writing classes. Some of you probably already have a copy. It is a very useful basic tool that you can always keep handy for reference.
Please note: there is one small error on page 19. The handbooks states that one way to fix a comma splice is by ending the sentence with a comma. Of course, no sentence can be ended with a comma. So, please make the correction that it should read "end the sentence with a period."
